Bisnis Indonesia adalah bisnis ialah sejumlah total usaha yg meliputi pertanian, produksi, konstruksi, distribusi, transportasi, komunikasi, cara jasa dan pemerintah, yg bergerak dalam bidang membikin dan memasarkan barang lalu jasa kepada konsumen pada ruang lingkup wilayah di Indonesia.

Bisnis dalam artiese luas adalah suatu istilah umum yang menggambarkan salahsatu aktivitas dan institusi yang memproduksi barang dan jasa dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (Amirullah, 2005: 2).

Menurut Louis E. Boone (2007: 5), bisnis (bussines) terdiri untuk seluruh aktivitas dan cara untuk mencari keuntungan melalui menyediakan barang dan jasa yang dibutuhkan bagi sistem perekonomian, beberapa bisnis memproduksi barang berwujud sedangkan lainnya memberikan jasa.

Sedangkan ulah merupakan tindakan seseorang di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Oleh hal ini karena itu, bisnis merupakan tindakan individu dan sekelompok orang yang menciptakan nilai menggunakan penciptaan barang dan service untuk memenuhi kebutuhan penduduk dan memperoleh keuntungan melangkaui transaksi.

Menurut Indriyo Gito Sudarmo (1993: 3), nyata beberapa macam jenis bisnis, untuk memudahkan mengetahui pengelompokannya maka dapat dikelompokkan menjadi berikut:
